The St. Pius X Festival Tournament Committee would like to extend a warm invitation to you and your soccer team to participate in the 13th ANNUAL ST. PIUS X FESTIVAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT. In 2019 we hosted 30 teams from many different clubs from across the region. As our tournament enters its 16th year we are building on that success to continue to offer area soccer teams fun and competitive recreational tournament.

Application Procedure:
Players must be registered to the team making the application. Teams consisting of not more than 18 players, must be registered and in good standing with the Nebraska State Soccer Association (NSSA). Guest players would need to come from the CYSL or equivalent recreational leagues. Please complete and follow the directions listed on the NSSA Guest Player Form.
Any team participating must carry US Youth Soccer 2019-2020 Player Passes.
Notice of Acceptance will be mailed prior to the tournament.
Awards:
U12 Individual trophy awards to 1st and 2nd place winners
U09-U10 Individual trophy awards to the 1st and 2nd place winners
U08 Inidividual trophy awards to 1st and 2nd place winners. Participation medals to all others.
All players will receive a tournament t-shirt.
Format: 3 Team (or more) Brackets
Laws of Play:
Play will be governed by the FIFA Laws of the Game, except where amended by US Youth Soccer Rules of Play, and/or the Tournament Rules. A complete set of rules will be provided prior to the tournament.
Game Length:
US Youth Soccer regulation game lengths for U8, U9, & U10. U12 will be 54 minutes.
If inclement weather, the Tournament Director shall have the authority to change the above format as follows:
1. Relocate and/or reschedule games.
2. Cancel all or part without penalty.
Refunds:
Games shall be considered complete if one half has been completed and the Tournament Director stops play. Teams will be refunded as follows: No games played -- 75% of the fee, 1 game played -- 50% of the fee, 2 games played -- 0% of the fee.
Substitution:
Unlimited substitutions following US Youth Soccer guidelines.
Entry Fee: U12: $405 U09/U10: $305 U08: $260
The entry fee includes costs for referees, games, field painting and Referee and Game Scheduler. You will be responsible for transportation, lodging, meals and any other costs associated with the tournament.
Referees
We will only be using USSF Registered Referees with a 3-Referee System on each game for U12.

Referee Abuse
Referee abuse will not be tolerated during the tournament. Referee abuse by a player, coach or fan will be reported to NSSA within 48 hours of the end of games. The player, coach or fan will be asked to leave the soccer complex and will not be allowed to return.
